Nebraska Great Park Pursuit 11.1.1

This application provides users with the ability to connect to the Great Parks Pursuit initiative, offering features such as news updates, capturing and submitting photographic impressions, and monitoring progress towards prizes. The current version of the app includes functionalities to receive news updates and view team information.

The Great Park Pursuit (GPP) is designed to encourage participants to explore up to 20 designated sites spread across Nebraska during the period from May 1st to September 12th, 2018. Players engage in a scavenger hunt by following clues that guide them to a GPP site where they are required to document their visit either by creating an impression with a pencil or by utilizing the mobile app for verification. Prizes and participation in raffles are determined by the quantity of impressions collected, with a grand prize featuring an outdoor recreation package valued at $1,500.

Established through a collaboration between the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission and the Nebraska Recreation and Park Association, the primary aim of GPP is to promote healthy and active lifestyles while fostering an appreciation for Nebraska's abundant natural outdoor recreational opportunities. Since its inception in 2008, over 22,000 Nebraskans have partaken in the engaging and fulfilling adventures offered by the Great Park Pursuit.
